I’ll admit that when I first saw the headline to the io9. article this was attached to, I thought of the Weeping Angels (spoilers).  Instead, I was treated to something even more amazing.  I’m not quite sure what the practical implications of this are, but I would like shoes with these so I can slide down the street like I’m skiing.
