From Up On Poppy Hill To Get A 2013 U.S. Release

Goro Miyazaki’s second film, From Up On Poppy Hill, will get a U.S. release in 2013.  I was a little worried that Disney wouldn’t release it due to a certain plot point involved in the film.  (It looks like Disney sold the theatrical rights to the film.  They still have home video rights, but maybe they’ll sell those for Only Yesterday and finally make that available here.)  I will admit that I’m a tad apprehensive about this film, seeing as how I could barely make it through 30 minutes of Goro Miyazaki’s last film, Tales From Earthsea.
