Just the other day, I was talking about whether a cake-pie could be made, and lo, such a thing exists. Although, truth be told, I’m more interested in the s’mores cookies.

Am taking requests.Going off my book store/bakery/venue idea from yesterday, I’ve realized that the name must be: The Bookery.
Today, I attended my weekly writing class at The Second City, then went to a lovely independent book store to have a writing group meeting with two friends. The classes teach sketch comedy techniques, while my friends in the writer group send each other short stories and novel selections that we’ve written, and we give each other notes. This time, in addition to my writing, I brought in a white chocolate torte I made.
And I realized that my new dream in life is to open up a small bookstore/cafe and host weekly or monthly open mic sessions, where people are encouraged to bring in stuff they’ve written and receive feedback from the audience.
Anyone out there care to invest?
