Is it wrong that these images evoked memories of The Legend of Zelda?
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is getting a next-gen remake. This isn’t news, but I had to share because I loved this game so much, and it never really got the recognition it deserved. So dark, weird, and creepy. So great.
Um, I think I need to be alone in my bunk for a while. (Oops, you can’t read the whole title. It’s the “Hyrule Historia”)
This week on The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show my guest is John Michael Paul, a producer who has assembled a full-size symphony orchestra to tour and play the music of Legend of Zelda. We discuss how he started the show, why the music of Zelda is so special, and what it’s like to work with Nintendo legends Shigeru Miyamoto and Koji Kondo.
The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show is available on iTunes, YouTube, and JeffRubinJeffRubinShow.com.
The show, Symphony of the Goddesses is playing live across the country right now, including an 11/28 stop in The Theater at Madison Square Garden. See if they’re coming to your town and get tickets at Zelda-Symphony.com

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses

I learned today that the beautiful Chicago Theater will be hosting a symphonic concert featuring music from The Legend of Zelda. I kind of want to go.
(Truth be told though, if I had to pick one “legendary” work of fiction to see a symphony of, it’d be The Legend of Korra.)
