So after last night’s story about Bryan Fuller making a television adaptation of Hannibal Lector (and sadly not making The Pie Maker of Fleet Street), today we learn that another great writer named Brian is developing a television adaptation of a property. Brian K. Vaughan, creator of Y: The Last Man, Runaways, and Ex Machina (all great comics worth checking out) and a staff writer for later seasons of LOST, will be adapting Stephen King’s Under the Dome (which, if I remember correctly, includes a fictional LOST spin-off). I’m not much of a King fan (The Shawshank Redemption and Kubrick’s version of The Shining were fantastic, though), but I’ve heard good things about Under the Dome, and Vaughan is a great writer, so I may have to check this out.
